Martin H. Bayer

Attorney and Counselor at Law

Bio

Prior to passing the California Bar Exam and being admitted to practice in 2023, Mr. Bayer enjoyed a successful career in the technology space, working for global organizations such as General Electric and AON Risk Management, as well as several pre-IPO startups and smaller companies. Trained as a programmer analyst, Mr. Bayer filled roles including full stack developer, director of web services, account executive, and software implementation consultant specializing in enterprise software implementation, configuration and integration.

“During my time in technology I was exposed to several law-related areas such as contracts negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, and litigation. I think this is when I really fell in love with the law.”

Throughout his career, Mr. Bayer has been an avid real estate investor. At one point he held a California Real Estate Broker’s license and was a top producer with several real estate organizations. “Through real estate investing, I learned the importance of sound estate planning, asset protection strategies, and entity structure and formation. After passing the bar, the opportunity to contribute to the Dayton Law Firm’s success developed and given my background, it seemed like a great fit. I love working in a boutique firm where you gain a great deal of responsibility right away. I also love how much the firm is focused on customer service, which aligns well with my fundamental belief in the importance of always adding value to whatever role you hold and taking care or your clients and customers.”

Mr. Bayer currently focuses on probate administration matters while also developing his trust administration and estate planning skills at the Dayton Law Firm.
