Christina Gorokhovsky

Christina focuses her practice exclusively on trusts, estates, and related areas. As a trusted attorney and counselor she manages The Dayton Law Firm’s Trust Administration practice.

Christina describes her work with families as “spiritual, requiring great integrity, technical competence, and compassion.”

Clients regularly compliment Christina for her creative solutions, focus on the big picture, and the personal attention she provides. When appropriate, Christina involves additional legal counsel and advisors, such as for business issues, real estate transactions, and litigation.

Christina’s Trust Administration practice includes A-B Trust Funding, Court Approved Trust Modifications, Heggstad Petitions, Spousal Property Petitions, Trust Termination and Distribution to Beneficiaries.

Christina earned her Bachelor of Accountancy (B. Acc.) from the University of San Diego. While at USD, she was invited to join Qualcomm’s Exclusive Management Training Program for accounting and finance professionals. At Qualcomm, she learned the importance of systems and processes and honed her presentation and communication skills by presenting regularly to department leaders and C-suite executives.

After successful years at Qualcomm, Christina chose to further her education and accepted a seat at the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder. Although initially focused on business entities, she found her true calling after enrolling in her first estate planning course. From then on, she focused her course work on taxation, and trusts and estates – drafting her first trusts while still in law school. Christina earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from CU in 2004.

When not practicing law, you will find Christina spending time with her family, at a California native plant nursery or volunteering in the community. She has also served on the boards of local, non-profit organizations and understands the important role they play in our neighborhoods.

Christina is a member of the State Bar of California, Wealth Counsel, the Silicon Valley Bar Association, the California Lawyers Association: Taxation and Trusts and Estate sections. She is licensed to appear in all California state courts and various federal courts.
